Both President Donald Trump and President-elect Joe Biden on Sunday, November 15, tweeted to congratulate NASA on the successful launch of their SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Although the intent behind both the tweets was the same, the current POTUS' post came across as boasting, while Biden touted the advancement of science.

"A great launch! @NASA was a closed up disaster when we took over. Now it is again the 'hottest,' most advanced, space center in the world, by far!" Trump wrote in the caption after retweeting a post from NASA which said, "LIVE NOW: We are ready to #LaunchAmerica. Are you? Watch coverage of the NASA @SpaceX Crew-1 mission. Liftoff is at 7:27pm ET" with a link to the live stream of the launch.

Biden, on the other hand, wrote, "Congratulations to NASA and SpaceX on today's launch. It’s a testament to the power of science and what we can accomplish by harnessing our innovation, ingenuity, and determination. I join all Americans and the people of Japan in wishing the astronauts Godspeed on their journey."

After the two tweets were drawn up by Vox reporter Aaron Rupar on Twitter, people were quick to notice the stark difference between the two and comment on the same. "I alone screwed in every bolt to make that sucker fly!!" one said, while another said, "Wow. It’s unreal." A third pointed out that Biden even beat Trump when it comes to putting out a congratulatory tweet. "Notice the time stamps on the tweets. @realDonaldTrump Yet again coming in second to @JoeBiden," the user wrote.

"My drunk uncle vs The President of the United States" the next commented. Someone else pointed out, "Biden’s message is more articulate and not about himself... oh and it was tweeted first, just saying!" Another said, "At a very general, rudimentary level this is what the election was about." One more user quipped, "His real tweet read: 'A great lunch! The big macs were the 'hottest' ever and I dipped all my fries in my large vanilla shake! Best Mickey D's, by far!'" Another user remarked, "He is just trying to take credit for the hard work of other people. He had nothing to do with the launch." Another opined, "Insane versus sane."

After days of refusing to accept the outcome of the 2020 election, in which he came out as the projected loser, Trump, for the time signaled that this democratic rival might have "won" the 2020 presidential election. This comes as Trump continues to insist the election was "rigged" against him, stressing once again how this acknowledgment shouldn't be seen as him conceding.

"He won because the Election was Rigged," Trump tweeted, responding to a monologue on Fox News' 'Watters' World'. Trump's tweet comes eight days after publications and social media both called the election in favor of Biden and named him the projected winner. Both Trump and his allies are yet to concede and continue to file lawsuits and charge up litigation to cite voter fraud in this year's election, demanding a number of ballots and votes be excluded from the official count.
