NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Bling Empire: New York' star Richard Chang seems to be coming off as someone who is taking advantage of people for his business. Netflix's Asian-American luxury show just dropped on the screen, stirring a lot of drama. Richard is very social and outspoken. He is often seen inviting people to his events and asking his friends for help.
But, it seemed that things took a bad turn when Richard had to face the accusation of "exploiting" his friends. Is he using Dorothy Wang and Tina Leung to make money? Well, that's what the two best friends think. In the recently released episodes of 'Bling Empire: New York,' Richard lashed out at Dorothy and Tina for not coming to his company Hudson Medical for IV treatment. Listening to Richard complain, Dorothy slammed the star for constantly sending them messages and asking for help to drum up business. She further slammed Richard asking, "you reprimand all your patients?"

Dorothy showed the screenshots of Richard's text messages. The star claimed, "He sent us texts late at night with a long paragraph." The text message advised both Dorothy and Tina that they needed to be well prepared before coming to Hudson's for IV treatment. Later in the message he claimed, "This is very important to me and the mental health space so I hope you will help me tell this story in the best light." This message indicated that Richard was asking a favor from Dorothy and Tina by inviting them to his clinic. To Dorothy, it seemed as if Ricard was more concerned about his business rather than their insomnia issue.
Richard tried defending himself saying that this communication is sent to all that patients who walk into Hudson. To this Dorothy asked Richard, "You reprimand all your patients?" Furthermore, Dorothy and Tina lashed out at Richard for asking for their help too often. Both claimed in a personal interview, "It really does feel like he only wants us to go because it's beneficial for him and his business." Dorothy further slammed Richard saying, "I'm surprised by how tactless Richard is." Dorothy thinks Richard's 'offers' come with stipulations and he only wants what is best for him.
Dorothy and Tina claim that Richard's help is more about the transaction. He always expects something in return from people. Dorothy called out his friendship, labelling their exchanges as "extraction" and transactional with "giving and taking." Richard did not accept the allegations being made against him, but he certainly made sure that he is not friends with Dorothy and Tina anymore.
