DJ Khaled is honoring fellow producer and entertainment mogul Quincy Jones in a new post on social media. Khaled, who calls himself the "Quincy Jones of hip-hop" was seen hanging out with the man himself in two photos shared on Instagram.

In one photo, Khaled was seen sitting on a sofa with a laptop in front of him and appears to be receiving advice from Jones while the pair shared snacks and beverages. "Iโ€™m a student. KHALED KHALED," he wrote in the caption for the pics. Fans who saw the pics were quick to respond to the epic moment. "The legend himself... Mr Quincy Jones. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽถ" said a fan while another shared, "That's my dream! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ”ฅ." One fan said, "NICE!!!!!! Always learning .. Brilliant." Another fan wrote, "Thatโ€™s Awesome ! being around older ppl you can learn so much."

Since his musical debut in 2006, DJ Khaled has worked with an extensive list of celebrated artists, such as Drake, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, Rihanna and more, but his new post marks the first time that he and Jones have been seen together. Khaled has spoken about the iconic record producer in a positive light before. On โ€˜The Ellen DeGeneres Showโ€™ in March 2016, Khaled said, โ€œI am like the hip-hop Quincy Jones, you know what I am saying? ... I am an entrepreneur. I am a young mogul.โ€ He added, โ€œI am blessed, you know what I am saying?โ€

For his music in 2020, a notable reason why Khaled shared the post is in part to tease his new album. In July, Khaled announced his 12th studio album that would be titled 'Khaled Khaled'. So, considering his caption includes the album's title, the post reveals that Jones has agreed to help him in some way for its creation or writing process - a collaboration would be mind-blowing, to say the least. Khaled's announcement was accompanied with a video trailer documenting his life and career, including the birth of his sons and winning his first Grammy Award.

What's more exciting about the meet-up is that Jones's contribution to Khaled's music comes after a long musical silence from the producer.Jones's last album 'Q Soul Bossa Nostra' released a decade ago in November 2010. That same year, Jones also released two singles 'Sanford & Son' (featuring T.I., B.o.B, Prince Charlez and Mohombi) and 'It's My Party' (featuring Amy Winehouse).

We can't be sure exactly as to why Khaled and Quincy Jones were spending time together, but we can look forward to a touch of the legendary producer on Khaled's upcoming LP.
