When fans were introduced to Dimitri and his wife, Ashley, they thought their lives were rather unconventional, to say the least. From their non-conformist religious beliefs to their dietary practices and the fact that they were on the lookout for a sister wife definitely made it seem like they weren't exactly your average family.

Interestingly, he mentions being a husband and a father on what could be perceived as a business site, but that is a big part of his persona, seeing that Dimitri has made it very clear he wants a massive family, with nine kids. Hence his search for a sister-wife to join him and Ashley to help their family grow.
So, just how far has he gotten in this endeavor? Here's a list of the women he's been involved with so far.
In 2003, he married Musawenkosi Ndlovu
As uncovered by Radar Online, Dimitri and Musawenkosi were married between 2003 and 2011. Seeing that the couple had no children, the marriage was dissolved. Not much is known about his first wife.
He began seeing Ashley Kapri shortly after his divorce
Seeing that the two have been together for nearly 11 years now, it's clear that they began seeing each other after his first marriage failed. Although they've been together for over a decade, the two of them are not legally married. They had a spiritual ceremony with former sister-wife Vanessa Cobbs when she joined their union. Said union, however, is not legally binding. The couple currently have three children together.
Season 1 saw a potential sister-wife named Joselyn
Joselyn seemed like a good fit for the couple. However, Ashley did put down a set of rules that Dimitri was expected to follow while courting their potential sister-wife.
He was not allowed to get intimate with her until Ashley said so. But Dimitri ended up breaking the rule on their first meeting. While fans slammed him for cheating, Ashley took to social media to defend her husband. "There are only [two] people on this planet Dimitri has to answer to. The first, and most important, is himself. YOU are always the first person YOU have to answer to. And in all honesty, you are the only person you have to answer to," she wrote. "It is a courtesy to answer to someone else. I know that’s a hard one for the masses to relate to, so take some time to process. The [second] person is me. And he has done that, And I have made the conscious effort to see him for who he is," is what she had to say, as reported by In Touch Weekly.
Former partner slammed Snowdens
As reported by SoapDirt, an unnamed woman took to Facebook to talk about the truth behind the Snowdens' relationship, stating that the version seen on TV is far from the truth.
As per the post shared, the couple is far more interested in a polyamorous relationship. She implied that the household itself was toxic to live in. "There was so much Trauma my daughters and I experienced while being there. It was horrible. Ashley is an enabler and her husband, a sexual deviant," it read.
The Snowdens have not addressed these allegations and there is no proof of the fact that this woman has been involved with the family.
The couple split from sister-wife Vanessa Cobbs
Season 2 saw the Snowden's tie the (spiritual) knot with Vanessa Snowden and the three of them seemed happy enough. However, this was short-lived as Vanessa spilt for the couple, citing that being with them was hindering her personal growth.
While that's the statement she put out in a now-deleted Instagram post, fans speculate that there is a lot more to this story, seeing that Ashley expected her to take care of the kids. Dimitri himself wanted more kids and the fact that the two of them were already considering a third sister-wife to add to the mix.
