CHUBUT, ARGENTINA: The remains of an Argentinian man, who had been missing for a fortnight, were reportedly found inside the belly of a shark. Diego Barria, 32 went missing on February 18 after driving his all-terrain vehicle along the coast of Argentina's southern Chubut province. The gruesome discovery was made on Sunday, February 26, around 8.30 am when two fishermen were cleaning three school sharks they caught close to where Barra's ATV was located.
The father-of-three's family indentified him based on a tattooed arm found inside the shark. An officer stated that DNA testing will be conducted while they investigate Barria's death. His wrecked ATV was discovered by a search team near Rocas Coloradas on February 20. They also found his helmet dented and broken near the chin, the DailyMail reported.

'I found a forearm with a tattoo'
"I was so unlucky that I found it myself," one of the fishermen said, per Diario Jornada, adding, "I went fishing and I open the shark's belly and I found a forearm with a tattoo." Barra's family was able to confirm his identity because of the pink, green, and red tattoo on his forearm that read "Josefina." He was last seen going on a ride to the countryside at 10.30 pm on February 18. He reportedly greeted three of his friends, who were fishermen, and another unknown person, who was the last to see him alive.
'I love you forever'
Civil Protection undersecretary José Mazeei said that the detectives had been probing the mysterious disappearance of Barra. Mazeei mentioned that they had two hypotheses. One suggested that Barra was hurt in an accident, while the anoother suggested that he was asleep on the beach when the tides swept his body into the water. Police have also been investigating if any other vehicles were involved in the accident. Cristian Ansaldo, the chief of police in Comodoro Rivadavia, informed local media that a DNA test would be conducted to determine whether the person was in fact, Barra.
Virginia Brugger, Barra's grieving widow, posted a photo of the two of them smiling on her Facebook page on the day his remains were found. She wrote the caption in Spanish, which translates to, "My heart went with you! I love you forever."
