WASHINGTON, D.C: White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was mocked on Tuesday, August 16, for a now-deleted tweet that hinted that she had run for US Presidency.
"Investing in America means investing in ALL of America. When I ran for President, I made a promise that I would leave no part of the country behind," read Jean-Pierreโs since-deleted tweet, as reported by the NY Post.

Who is Karine Jean-Pierre married to?
Jean-Pierre is married to American broadcast journalist Suzanne Malveaux, who has co-anchored the CNN international news program 'Around the World' and hosted various editions of 'CNN Newsroom.
Additionally, Malveaux held the role of White House correspondent for the network and was the primary substitute for Wolf Blitzer on 'The Situation Room.' Her tenure with CNN ended in 2023.
Jean-Pierre has held the position of White House Press Secretary since May 13, 2022, being a trailblazer as the first Black person and the first individual with an open LGBT identity to occupy the role.
