David Dobrik is facing the fury of netizens after a video was released by Vlog Squad member Jeff Wittek. The video's description reads, "HOW I BROKE MY FACE | Ep 2 | Don't Try This At Home" in the title. The video shows some shocking behind-the-scenes footage of how Jeff Wittek almost died while swinging from a rope that was tied to an excavator that David Dobrik was driving.

In the video, Jeff Wittek explains how he along with some other members of Dobrik's Vlog squad were filming this "epic" vlog, practicing for a sky diving session. Then they came back for a fun "wakeboarding" video with Dobrik present. From the look of it, the wakeboarding seemed a lot less dangerous than skydiving practice as they were shooting in a lake that is less than one feet deep. But things went so wrong that Jeff Wittek almost got 'killed' by Dobrik.

Did David Dobrik nearly KILL Jeff Wittek?

Jeff Wittek explains that David Dobrik was the one controlling the excavator while he was swinging by a rope in the middle of the lake. Before him, Vlog Squad member Corinna Kopf got on the swing and the shooting started as planned with the mountains in the background looking beautiful.

But Wittek claims that Dobrik didn't listen when the rope loosened and she said "put me down." Corinna can be heard, saying after getting off, "You always take things too far" to Dobrik. Later, Wittek reveals, "I just jumped out of a plane twenty times, what's the worse that could happen if I swing from a rope over a feet deep lake."

He added, "And yeah, I didn't know I'd go that fast, so I grabbed the f**king rope and tried to make it goddamn funny video for people but this is where I made a mistake. I forgot that the biggest fucking idiot that I know of was driving it." The video shows Wittek spinning at a crazy speed and him falling on the water merely inches away from the excavator.

The fall caused him major injury as a member said, his face was "half open" and they didn't know what to do next. After this video went viral, netizens are calling Dobrik a "f**king psychopath who almost killed his friend." Plus, social media users have also slammed Dobrik fans by saying when they were busy preaching the YouTuber for stopping their vlogs due to Covid 19, in reality it was actually for the fact that he nearly killed someone. A fan said, "I’ve never felt so angry at a dumb ass influencer before. David Dobrik needs to be stopped. He’s always been irresponsible at his friends expense for YOUTUBE videos. He COULD have been charged with manslaughter had Jeff been inches closer to the excavator. IM LIVIDDDDD!"

The user added, "I’m also 50% sure when jeff first posted about the accident that Todd was the only one that went to visit him at the hospital. I could be wrong(and i hope i am)!" Another user said, "David Dobrik is really out here almost killing his friends, which could have resulted in him being charged with manslaughter. And yet, people still want to accept his apologies, when it’s not even their place to do so?" Another user said, "David Dobrik is a psychopath and that excavator video proves it. Doing it in the first place, and then hiding it?"
