Spoilers for 'Dickinson'

The first three episodes of Season 2 of the Apple TV+ series 'Dickinson' aired on January 8, 2021. In case you forgot, here's a quick rundown of Episode 3, 'The Only Ghost I Ever Saw', where was saw Lavinia (Anna Baryshnikov) in awe of Henry “Ship” Shipley's (Pico Alexander) stories of Lola Montez. Emily, on the other hand, isn't sure if she should allow Sam Bowles to publish her work. She doesn't know if she wants to get her poem published or not either.

Pushing aside the frustration of not being able to weigh the pros and cons, she decides to have a séance with Lavinia and friends so the spirits can guide her. If you remember, Emily also decides to keep Henry's secret - he has been "anonymously writing and publishing an abolitionist circular", according to Cinemaholic. The séance ends with what looked like spirits taking over the household and Emily, when alone, experiences the "Nobody" ghost (Will Pullen) again that warns her that she should not run toward fame. But, Emily decides that Sam will publish her poem in his newspaper.

According to reports from Cinemaholic, Episode 4 will see the protagonist Emily try to navigate her writer's block for the first time in her life as she decides birdwatching with Edward might help clear her head. But she meets an "interesting gentleman" who shares with her his "creative process". Austin on the other hand brings home the Newman girls to push forward the adoption process, but Sue isn't on board. Emily's parents find themselves stuck in a hole and Ship "stages" a marriage proposal for Lavinia.
