Deshaun Watson allegations: NFL star saw AT LEAST 66 female massage therapists over 17 months
Deshaun Watson, the NFL star, has found himself in a marsh and it's hard to escape. He's been sued by 24 massage therapists for sexual misconduct. Now, a new report from The New York Times claims that Deshaun used "at least" 66 massage therapists over a 17-month period, roughly from the fall of 2019 to the spring of 2021. The report found its way out to the public on Tuesday, June 7.
Another woman accused Deshaun of misconduct but withdrew her case, while two more therapists made criminal accusations but didn't sue, and as many as 15 massage therapists came forward to support him. It's said that at last four worked with Genuine Touch, the company hired by Deshaun's former team, the Texans. The NYT report also claimed that it was someone from within the organization who provided the American football quarterback with an NDA form to give to the therapists and that the franchise also provided him with locations for his appointment. The statement further reveals that the franchise learned about the allegations back in March 2021 and that they have continued to cooperate with the investigators and will continue to do so.

The NYT's Jenny Vrentas confirmed that 15 more women through interviews and records reviews and claimed that these 5 women were identified by the plaintiff's lawyer during the investigation process. However, two grand juries in Texas have declined to charge Deshaun with criminal charges when he reportedly answered 150+ questions with the Fifth Amendment. Meanwhile, his attorneys have thoroughly argued that any sexual act between their client and the complainants was purely consensual.
Deshaun Wason falling into the abyss
Deshaun is currently falling into an abyss with no possible way out for some time now. The allegations are piling up and 24 is a big number to manage. Thinking along the same lines, Fox Sports Analyst Skip Bayless explained his take on the 24th lawsuit. He said on Fox Sports: Undisputed platform, "So Rusty now says that Deshaun just completed four days of what he called a hell of a detailed investigation for four days of interviews by the NFL of Deshaun. And yet, Deshaun continues to say that he's never disrespected any woman, and the female attorney, the partner with Rusty Hardin, says that Deshaun did nothing wrong civilly or criminally and obviously as you point out, the grand juries chose not pursue (charges). All I know for sure is that 24 is a lot."

The 24th lawsuit shook the NFL world because of the details in it. The woman accused Deshaun of ejaculating on her. She explained, "At the beginning of the session, Watson did not want to use the draping that is typically used in a massage. Instead, he requested a small towel. Watson also insisted on starting the massage with him lying face up He then demanded that she work on his inner thighs and quadriceps. During the massage, Watson’s tone became aggressive as he repeatedly demanded that she go higher and higher into his inner thighs, causing her hand to reach his scrotum.” Deshaun, 26, signed to the Browns this offseason with a fully guaranteed five-year $230 million contract. However, he could be looking at some serious disciplining from NFL's Personal Conduct Policy.
