Demi Moore shares unseen photo of baby bump before she miscarried Ashton Kutcher's baby, says they tried IVF 'quite a few times' before split
Actress Demi Moore, on September 24, revealed fresh details of her unreported pregnancy during her marriage with Ashton Kutcher and shared a photograph of her baby bump before she miscarried at six months when she was 42-years-old.
The actress made the revelation while speaking to Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America about her new memoir titled 'Inside Out.' Moore, during the interview, reflected on two of her three marriages, to actors Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher. She also talked of the lengths she went in an attempt to save her relationship with Kutcher, who was 15 years her junior. The couple remained married for eight years, before divorcing in 2013.
Reports state that Moore, despite having three children from her first marriage, wanted to have a baby with Kutcher. She became pregnant in 2003, shortly after dating him when she was 42, however, she miscarried six months into the pregnancy. Moore, in her new book, has revealed that she had also picked a name for the baby girl, Chaplin Ray.
The actress, now 56, recalled on the show that she was told by her doctor that the baby had no heartbeat. "You could see combination of his dread and it shifting then immediately into matter of fact, practical, information. Because it was unquestionable. There was no heartbeat," she said. She also revealed that the couple attempted to have children "quite a few times" through IVF, however, the trials failed.
Moore, while reflecting on her relationships, said she lost sight of the family she had because she was busy attempting to create another one. "I can't even bring fully to words how lost and desperate, confused... I really lost sight of everything that was right in front of me which is the family I had. The weight that it put on Ashton, it's kind of a natural thing to pull back when somebody's clinging too tight."
The actress also revealed that she became aware of Kutcher being unfaithful in 2003. She reportedly received the news in a Goggle alert moments after stepping onto the red carpet. She said that she called him to ask if the report was true and he admitted "right away."
"I asked if it was true and he admitted it right away. I think my response was, "Are you f*****g kidding me? That was it. I think that I could barely take a breath." The couple continued to stay together and married in 2005 before splitting eight years later.
