'Delusional' Fox News host Sean Hannity shredded for his report on Biden admin waiving 26 federal laws

This comes after Alejandro Mayorkas cited an 'acute and immediate need' to waive dozens of federal laws to build a border wall in South Texas

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, October 4, President Joe Biden’s administration announced that 26 federal laws were waived to allow border wall construction in Texas, as per ABC News.

This move marks the administration's initial utilization of an executive power that was frequently employed by former President Donald Trump to secure funding for projects along the southern border.

This comes after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas cited an “acute and immediate need” to waive dozens of federal laws to build a border wall in south Texas where illegal migration has reportedly surged, as per Fox News.

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to update his followers more on the news and what the Biden administration’s next step might be.

However, the internet didn’t respond positively to Hannity’s tweet as he faced backlash from his followers calling him a “liar”.

Sean Hannity reports on Biden administration waiving 26 federal laws

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “Biden administration waives 26 federal laws, mostly environmental, to continue building Trump’s border wall.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from 'Joe Pags' show titled, “BIDEN ADMINISTRATION WAIVES 26 FEDERAL LAWS, MOSTLY ENVIRONMENTAL, TO CONTINUE BUILDING TRUMP’S BORDER WALL.”

In the article, it is stated that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has allowed border-wall construction to continue alongside waiving 26 federal laws.

Mayorkas wrote in a notice, “There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas.”

Hannity also took a jab at President Joe Biden on Thursday night as he took to X and wrote, “HANNITY: “Now the Biden Administration has decided that the border wall might not be so racist after all. In fact, the White House just waived a whopping 26 environmental federal laws to expedite a wall in Texas!”

He posted an article from Hannity’s official website titled, “HANNITY UNLOADS: 'Now Joe Has Decided Walls Aren't So Racist After All!' [WATCH].”

In the article, Hannity mocked Biden for going back on his promise to build more of the wall at the Southern border.

He pointed out Biden’s promise that “not one more foot of wall” would be built in his administration and called the wall “racist.”

Internet trolls Sean Hannity for calling out Biden admin

Soon after Fox News anchor Sean Hannity tweeted about the Biden administration waiving 26 federal laws and going back on his promise, the internet took a jab at Hannity.

One person wrote, “Hannity is a MAGA hack.”

Another called out Hannity saying, “Why do you have a problem with that? You’ve been whining 24/7 about the border and now there’ll be a wall. You should be jumping up & down with joy. Of course now you’ll have to find something new to cry about. #GOPLosers.”

A person simply said, “Finally, you posted something true. Biden didn't approve the construction of the wall. He just waived regulations to allow the already allocated funds to be spent. You f*****s should be happy about this, but instead you all attacked his decision. There's just no satisfying you.”

One more wrote, “Sean, get your head out of your **s. You know damn well this is just a scam by Biden to keep the govt open. Thot you were smarter than this.”

“I watched MSNBC and CNN last night. Thought I would watch Hannity show for a few minutes. What a delusional joke, liar Hannity is. How can a reasonable thinking normal person watch this crazy liar at night? Hannity pushes lies. MSNBC, CNN, and others tell the truth,” said another person.
