Sunil Bhandari explains his connection with Victor Sams in 'Death and Other Details'

Amid Imogene's fury and sense of betrayal, Sunil attempts to explain that his knowledge about Victor Sams is limited, and he was coerced into working for him.

He recounts how he secured funding from Victor Sams when he faced bankruptcy during the construction of his ship.

He goes on to explain that an intermediary named Andreas Windeler orchestrated the agreement. In this deal, Sams agreed to provide funding under the condition that specific technological upgrades be implemented on the ship, with the strict stipulation that Sunil was not allowed to ask any questions.

After the initial arrangement, Victor Sams remained silent and didn't contact Sunil until the murder of Keith Trubitsky (Michael Gladis). It was at this point that Sunil received a call from Sams on his flip phone, directing him to stay informed about the ongoing investigation.

Imogene, who once shared a night of intimacy with Sunil in Malta, feels a sense of betrayal. However, Sunil assures her that he stopped spying for Victor Sams upon learning about his involvement in her mother's murder.

Will Imogene find it within herself to trust Sunil once more? The unraveling drama of exposing the blackmail mafia led by Victor Sams adds an intriguing layer to the storyline. The upcoming episodes of Hulu's series guarantee a thrilling roller-coaster of mystery and suspense.
