'Dead Ringers' on Prime Video: Release date and how to watch psychological drama series

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amazon Prime Video is remaking David Cronenberg's film, 'Dead Ringers' into a series. The 1988 cult classic traced the story of twin brothers Beverly and Elliot Mantle, played by Jeremy Irons. Based on the same premise, the streamer is bringing out a limited series, 'Dead Ringers'.

The series features Rachel Weisz in the dual lead. The original movie, an adaption of the 1977 novel, 'Twins' written by Bari Wood and Jack Geasland, told the story of two brothers. 'Dead Ringers' series will feature two sisters and tell the story through the lens of women and the challenges faced in healthcare. The psychological drama is created, written, and produced by playwright Alice Birch known for 'Normal People'.
