'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 10 Preview: Is Brutus about to return and dish out some backstabbing?
The Encores, returned spirits of evil historical figures, have plagued the Legends all season and now it looks like a whole bunch of them are about to show up and cause trouble for the team. If images released for the upcoming Episode 10 'The Great British Fake-Off' are any indication, it looks like one of them is going to be none other than Brutus himself.
One of the preview images released from the episode shows a man in a Roman outfit preparing to attack John Constantine (Matt Ryan). Based on his attire he could be anyone from Julius Caesar to Mark Antony but another image also shows someone putting a knife to Constantine's back, which we can all agree is definitely a classic Brutus move.
One of the images also shows Zari Tarazi (Tala Ashe) dressed up as Cleopatra, which could be a ruse to try and get these Encores to stand down. There's always the possibility that it's actually Cleopatra, the way Marie Antoinette was played by Courtney Ford (who was Nora Darhk on the show at the time) but what are the chances of an Encore looking like a Legend twice?
In any case, this is bound to be a killer episode for the show as the promo for the episode teases that Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan), Mick Rory / Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), and Gary (Adam Tsekhman) are going to be taking a trip to Hell to confront Astra Logue (Olivia Swann), which cannot end well. There are also hints that there may be something strange going on with Sara Lance / White Canary (Caity Lotz) and that's bound to be an interesting watch.
Here's the synopsis for 'The Great British Fake-Off': "WE'VE GOT COMPANY -- With Sara (Caity Lotz) recuperating from her latest battle, Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) starts to notice something might not be right with her. Still searching for the Loom, Constantine (Matt Ryan) and Zari (Tala Ashe) find themselves trapped in a 1910 boarding house with a slew of out-of-time Encores. Meanwhile, Ava (Jes Macallan), Gary (guest star Adam Tsekhman) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) take a trip while Nate (Nick Zano) and Charlie hold down the Waverider. Olivia Swann also stars. David Geddes directed the episode written by Jackie Canino."
'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 pm ET exclusively on The CW.
