Days Inn shooting: Woman critical, four others injured during gunfire exchange at DC motel
A shooting at a Washington, DC motel has left a woman in critical condition while leaving four others injured. The incident reportedly happened at 3 in the morning local time on Thursday, January 27, at a party at the Days Inn in the 4400 block of Connecticut Avenue.
As the investigation into the case has been launched, police closed Connecticut Avenue between Albemarle and Yuma Streets. The DC Police Department first said the incident claimed the life of a person, but later mentioned that no one has died. In a series of tweets, the DC Police Department wrote, “MPD has located four adult female shooting victims related to this incident at the Days Inn. One of the victims is deceased, and the others are at the hospital receiving treatment. The District Commander is on scene to provide media interviews. This is an ongoing investigation.”

One person in critical condition.” Meanwhile, the culprit (s) and the motive behind the shooting are not known yet.
