Health scare! Cybill Shepherd is ‘courting catastrophe’ as she struggles to walk with suspected case of arthritis
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A source has claimed that age has taken over former model, Cybill Shepherd, who does not hold a clean bill of health. It has been noted that there is a high probability of the ‘Moonlighting’ actress suffering from an advanced case of arthritis because recently she has been using a cane to walk.
She was spotted leaving a studio in New York City recently, and it looked like she was struggling to walk, RadarOnline reported. An insider said, “Her decline is so sad and tragic. She was once a Hollywood bombshell with a body and beauty to die for, but now she looks bloated and frail and has trouble moving without assistance.”

Is ‘How to Murder Your Husband’ based on true story?
Cybill Shepherd is 'definitely courting catastrophe'
A doctor, who has not treated Shepherd, also expressed his views on the actress’ health. The 72-year-old can get impacted by a lot of health scares, according to lifespan expert, Dr Gabe Mirkin. He reportedly added, “She's definitely courting catastrophe.” “Grandma is a crybaby these days. Vulnerability can be your superpower. The truth is women can be sensitive creatures unless we get mad … and then watch out,” ‘The Last Picture Show’ star told the Review-Journal.
'Flaunt what you’ve got left'
Shepherd continued, “One of my favorite sayings is to flaunt what you’ve got left. I approach each age thinking this is the best time for me as a woman. I believe that if you love yourself as you age, it’s easier to accept some of the changes,” and further explained, “I also think at middle age we really learn to enjoy life because you know yourself. I don’t think anyone has it all figured out until they’re at least in their 40s.”
“Being older means you can truly avoid making the same old mistakes, plus you realize now that it’s not about you, but what you can give back. Life now becomes more of a spiritual journey,” she revealed. The mother-of-four also added, “I’m such a crybaby at this age. I cry at everything now. I think it’s such a great release. Why not cry? It’s just another way to get out your stress.”
‘I could relate’
Shepherd recently appeared in ‘How to Murder Your Husband: The Nancy Brophy Story’ in which she played the lead role of Nancy Crampton Brophy, who murdered her husband, Daniel Brophy. She shared the reason behind doing that role with the Review-Journal. The actress stated, “I need reasons to do a project. In this movie, my character’s father was an alcoholic. My own father was also an alcoholic."
“I could relate. I knew that world. I had experienced it. I do want to say that my father was always a wonderful man. He was a great dad to me. I don’t really want to complain.”
