Who is Crystal Johnson? Amber alert issued for 3 children believed to be abducted by 'homicidal' Brooklyn mom

An Amber alert has been issued for three children in Brooklyn. According to the police, the children were last seen on Van Siclen Ave. in Cypress Hills sometime after noon on September 25. The NYPD 75th Precinct tweeted about the alleged suspect. They wrote: “Crystal Johnson 26 year old female and her 3 children were last seen in vicinity of 361 New lots Ave. If you have seen or have any info in regards to their whereabouts, CALL 911. Sincere Johnson- 5 year old, Devine Johnson- 7 year old, Hydi Johnson- 1 year old.”



 

The New York State Police tweeted: “The New York State Police is activating an AMBER Alert on behalf of the NYPD 75th Pct.  The children were taken under circumstances that lead police to believe they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death. If you have any information call 718-827-3548 or dial 911.”



 

The ABC7 report described the details of the children. Devine is 7, a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. Hydi, a Black female, around one-year-old with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with pink leggings and was being pushed in a black stroller. And, Sincere, Black male, about five years old with black hair and brown eyes.

The report further states, the alleged suspect was described as being approximately 5'2' in height and weighs about 150 pounds. The police say she was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater, leggings with a flower print, black boots. Her hair was in short twists and there was bruising under both her eyes. As per the police, she is allegedly both suicidal and homicidal and was last seen traveling on Van Siclen Ave. WCBS Newsradio 880 reports, she was captured on surveillance cameras near Pitkin Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue walking with the children and pushing a baby stroller.
 
According to the report, sources have informed that ACS was supposed to take custody of the kids on September 25, and that is when she threatened to kill herself. However, it is still unknown as why the ACS was taking custody to begin with.

Earlier in the day, as per ABC7, another Amber alert was issued after a child in Pennsylvania allegedly went missing with her father. That alert was later canceled after they were both found. The father, Juan Pablo Torres does not have custody of his daughter of Giselle Torres, as stated by the police. As per NYPD both the child and father are at the 104th precinct. They are safe and unharmed. However, according to them the father is pending charges and will likely be deported back to Pennsylvania.
