'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 1': The multiverse-shattering battle leaves an obliterated 'Titans' Universe in its wake

'Crisis on Infinite Earths'  is finally here and the show's Part 1 left fans shell-shocked. Among the many talking points, one of the prominent ones was the glimpse of the Titans coming in.

Robin and Hawk had a quick cameo at the start of the episode that raised the hopes of fans. However, they met a rather tragic end as their universe was disintegrated by an anti-matter wave.

This was just the start of the loss of lives. Ahead of the imminent event, there were rumors that the crossover would feature the Titans and with this, it is clear the Arrowverse has more surprises up its sleeve.

The episode opens with various Earths being obliterated by the Anti-Matter Wave. The audience gets a quick glimpse of Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson) and Jason Todd (Curran Walters)  from Earth-6 and even before they could do anything, their planet is decimated by the wave.

This leaves the fate of the Titans in serious doubt. While it does establish the fact that the Titans' universe is connected to the Arrowverse, where will it go from here now that their Earth is destroyed? Plus, 'Titans' was renewed for Season 3, so will there be some explanation to sort out this detail?

For now, 'Crisis' has made a hard-hitting impact bringing in all the superheroes from different universes to take on the Anti-Monitor. And the Titans weren't the only ones who met a tragic end.

Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen too met a heroic end at the hands of the Shadow Hunters and it remains to be seen if the Arrowverse has a way to detail out the torrid, abrupt end to their first hero. One thing's for sure, he isn't going to be the last casualty of war.

'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 2' airs at 8 pm on Tuesday, December 10, on The CW.
