The first episode of CW's 'The Crisis On Infinite Earths' plunged straight into the multiversal disaster and saw some heartbreaking losses. While Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) lost what was left of her homeworld and saw her mother Alura die a second time, the heroes also saw their Earth-38 being obliterated as well, despite their best efforts. Still recovering from these events, the second episode of' Crisis' saw our heroes trying to desperately save the rest of the multiverse. However, there was another death that has sent fans reeling.

As Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) died in a manner that the Monitor had not foreseen, the heroes have to hunt for seven more Paragons, or rather allies who will help them in their battle. They already have two with Supergirl and Sara Lance (Caty Lotz). Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Supergirl go and look for a version of Batman, who will lead them to the Paragon of Courage.

However, the version of Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) they meet, is a villainous and evil person. In this Earth, Kate died five years ago, and Bruce murdered several enemies. Kara warns Kate, and Bruce attacks her with Kryptonite. Kate hits back and fights back against the elder Bruce, killing him. Kate returns to the other heroes and reveals that Bruce was the Paragon of nothing. Turns out, Kate is the Paragon of Courage.

Obviously, this has led to mixed reactions from fans. One angry fan wrote, "Soooooo y’all had an old, bitter Bruce and decided to go with THIS storyline instead of making Batman Beyond?? Smh y’all trash."

A fan was furious with this treatment of Batman, "GET THE F**K OUTTA HERE WITH THAT BULLSHIT! They finally gave us Bruce Wayne, just to end it with this story putting Kate on a pedestal. Gah! No wonder Warner Brothers didn't want to bring Batman into the CW for so long!."

One tweeted, "Bruce Wayne got the most disrespect tonight. Like what the hell. Why even include him in the event if your going to tarnish his legacy just to prop up Kate? It wasnt even needed AT ALL."

Another wondered why Kate was able to fight against Bruce and not Kara, "How does Kate stop a punch from Bruce but not Kara? I hate it when they dumb down Kara's powers to fit the narrative."

One wrote, "Kate's first kill is Bruce. Makes sense, she wanted to do that for like 3 straight episodes anyway lol."

Another fan wrote that Kate needed this storyline to move on from Bruce's shadow, "I'm going to amend my previous assumption, Batwoman is the paragon. She just needed to see this in order to move on from Bruce's shadow #CrisisOnInfiniteEarths."

One fan tweeted, "A crippled Bruce Wayne who killed his version of Superman who still had kryptonite on hand. Tried to fight Kate, but it resulted in Bruce getting electrocuted. There is hope Bruce, just not from you."

The third episode of 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' will air on December 10.
