‘Council of Dad’ Episode 5 Preview: Sarah Wayne Callies gets fans all excited with a new character’s entry
‘Council of Dads’ Episode 5 is about to air and fans cannot be more excited! And there are so many reasons for it. The NBC family drama has been on a two-week break and it did not leave the audience happy. Episode 4 ended with a big question about Robin Perry (Sarah Wayne Callies) and what she would do in the upcoming episode.
The previous chapter ‘The Sixth Stage’ explored Robin’s emotional evolution from grieving to seeking companionship all over again. And then the episode ended in a major cliffhanger, making us all mull over the age-old ‘will she, won’t she’ question. And while people waited with bated breath to find out what is going to happen next with Robin, the actor drops a tweet, teasing her fans about one more surprise!
Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Robin Perry tweeted a day before the new and fifth episode is about to air, putting up a photo with her new co-star who plays Callies’ mother in the series. She captioned it, “#councilofdads TOMORROW Television i’m so excited for the holiday episode Television and mom’s back!! 200+ episodes of TV and it’s my first mom. thanks @CODwriters Television @nbc thursday 8/7c @CouncilofDads”

It’s indeed surprising to know that Callies never had an on-screen mother so far in any of her shows and this will be her first time ever! As much she is looking forward to this experience, so are fans!

With Robin’s life taking a new turn, the presence of her mother in her life would make a big impact, or so we are guessing. We are yet to find out about the dynamics between the mother and daughter as the new actor joins the cast and the Perry family.
How will Robin’s mother deal with her daughter’s newfound desires and changing emotional quotient?
Guess we have to find out when ‘Council of Dads’ Episode 5 ‘Tradition’ airs on Thursday May 28, 8pm/7c only on NBC.
