In ‘Constellation’ Episode 1, the main focus is on the International Space Station, wherein Jo is part of a small crew working.

A disaster at the ISS wreaks havoc and Jo is trying to puzzle out what’s really going on. This has already led to the death of one crew member, Paul Lancaster (William Catlett).

As the episode progresses further, the viewers learn a bit more about Jo's husband Magnus (James D’Arcy), and a former astronaut and current NASA scientist Henry Caldera (Jonathan Banks).

The husband is terrified after hearing the news. Magnus and Jo's daughter, Alice (Rosie Coleman), are shown praying for her safe return to earth.

At the beginning of the episode, Jo drives a car along with her daughter. The scene raises a lot of questions: Is Jo dealing with branched timelines or facing some form of memory alteration?

In the first scene, she is seen traipsing through the snow along with her daughter. In the next scene, the focus shifts to the ISS.

Jo is chatting by tablet with her daughter back on Earth when something collides disastrously with the space station.

This storyline is full of suspense, and excitement, and is convincingly executed.

‘Constellation’ Episode 1 is now available to stream on Apple TV+
