'Conjuring' house livestream: All you need to know about the 24-hour, weeklong 'spookathon'
In a scenario where the world is under lockdown and people have quarantined themselves in their homes, how would it be to take a peek into one of the most iconic haunted houses?
The real Rhode Island house that inspired the movie ‘Conjuring’ will open its doors for the world to explore and discover the eerie, uncanny, and fearsome happenings that go on there daily.
What is ‘The House’ all about?
‘The House’ is a 24-hour, week-long, online event created and hosted by the online supernatural enthusiasts known as Dark Zone Community. It will give you a virtual walkthrough of the Rhode Island property seen in the legendary supernatural movie and take you on a thrill-ride as you see paranormal activities and investigations.
The original house that became famous as “haunted” was eventually bought over by paranormal investigator Cory Heinzen, who believes that the property is still haunted. The house is currently occupied by him and his family. And now, the Heinzens are opening up their doors for you to take a look at what goes on behind inside the house.
What’s in store?
The Heinzens will walk you through their home, which they allege continues to be haunted despite their presence, and show you how they live among the spirits, especially in the current situation of a pandemic. You can have a direct but virtual experience of the paranormal activities happening live!
Heinzen and his family will also show you how they conduct séances, conjuring, investigations, and a full week of planned activities.
But that’s not all.
A host of paranormal celebrities will also join the event through a virtual meeting. Expect to see people like Andrea Perron, author and survivor of the original Conjuring haunting, Kristen Luman from "Ghost Hunters," Susan Slaughter from "Paranormal Caught on Camera," Brian Cano from "Paranormal Caught on Camera," Patrick Doyle from "Ghost Mine," Jay Verburg from "Ghost Mine," Colin Browen from "The Paranormal Files," Jimmy Church from "Fade 2 Black," and many other guests.
When and where can you see it?
Dark Zone Network will live stream ‘The House’ event for 24 hours for one whole week. The streaming is available on their community channel Darkzone TV.
Streaming starts 12 noon (ET) / 9am (PT) on Saturday May 9th and will run 24/7 for an entire week.
But first, take a peek!
