One of the two women reported that a bartender refused to serve any more alcohol to Donny as he was way too intoxicated. An hour later, at 3:30 am, Donny and his friend went back to his room. Later search revealed that the friend left Donny's room at 4:20 am and came back at 5 am. He was accompanied by one of the women when he returned. This was when the woman realised that Donny was sitting in a chair and his hand looked pale before turning purple.
The woman also noticed that Donny's hands were freezing and it looked like he was not breathing. The friend and the woman moved Donny to the bed and called security. Security then called 911 and the comedian was taken to Sunrise Hospital. He was pronounced dead just a few minutes after 7 am.
The police suspect foul play because it was noted that Donny's friend refused to speak to the authorities in the absence of his layers. Additionally, the authorities also faced some issues while gathering information from those in the room with the late comedian.
