'Clipped' Episode 5 revisits the aftermath of Donald Sterling's leaked audio tape. Adam Silver (Darin Cooper), Commissioner of the NBA, calls a press conference and announces a lifetime ban on Sterling from the NBA.

This means that Sterling can no longer be associated to the organization. Neither he can attend any further games or practices.

Along with the ban, he was slapped with a fine of $2.5 million, the maximum amount allowed to fine as per NBA constitution. He also urges the Board of Governors to force Sterling to sell Clippers.

Meanwhile, Shelly Sterling tries to contain the damage by seeking Andy Roeser's (Kelly AuCoin) help. However, when Andy gets terminated by NBA, she has to return to her counselors who device a strategy to save her reputation.

After the ban, Donald Sterling sets up an interview for V Stiviano with ABC's Barbara Walters. Sterling, Stiviano and Magic Johnson were supposed to appear together on the interview to talk about the entire scandal.

However, as Johnson couldn't make it and Sterling is advised against the TV appearance, Stiviano gives a solo interview. She admits being paid off the books and says that she loves Sterling as a "father figure".

Later, Shelly Sterling also gives an interview to Walters where she admits being separated from Donald Sterling and announces that she has already filed a petition for divorce.

Being the 50% owner of Clippers, Shelly sits with NBA board expressing her desire against the sale. But since she and Donald aren't divorced yet, NBA gives her ten days of time to go ahead with the sale or else face auction.

Shelly visits Donald and tries to convince him to sell the team. Reluctantly, he signs the papers that allows her to sell Clippers.

Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger with Donald Sterling trying to call someone. As the calls keep getting forwarded to voice mails, he steps out and calls the unknown young lady dressed in yellow.

At this point, it feels like Donald Sterling isn't ready to give up as yet. He surely has something in mind and will try to challenge NBA's decision.

Fans can expect things to get messier in the life of Sterlings amid the pressure of sales and Donald Sterling's inflated ago.

Meanwhile, Stiviano would also face the consequences of the scandal. After her interview was aired, another clip of Donald Sterling was leaked where he said that she bleaches her face to look white.

As she walks on the street with her adopted children, she is being called names, which hints that her downfall has begun.
