Hillside Horror: Husband dies after couple falls more than 100 feet off cliff while arguing
DUNDAR, TURKEY: A husband died after falling more than 130 feet off a cliff while having an argument with his wife. The deceased, identified as Ali G, 35, was arguing with his partner Arzu G, 32, while walking along hills outside Dundar, north-eastern Turkey, when they both fell off the cliff.
According to the Sun, the pair were reportedly so busy arguing that they did not notice the cliff edge.They both fell over, and coffeeshop manager Ali died on the scene. His wife Arzu, however, survived the fall. The 32-year-old managed to crawl her way to a nearby road and begged passing cars to stop, as per reports in the local media.

A school bus stopped and took Arzu, who received serious injuries from the fall, to a nearby hospital. According to the outlet, state prosecutors have ordered an autopsy to be carried out on her husband's body.
Not much details have been revealed as the investigation into the incident is underway.
In a separate incident, a man pushed his pregnant wife off a cliff to receive the accident insurance and seven loans he had taken out for her. As per the Mirror, Hakan Aysal, 40, and his seven months-pregnant wife Semra Aysal, 32, were on vacation in Butterfly Valley in the district of Fethiye, when the incident occurred, in June 2018.
The husband was sentenced to 30 years in prison after suspicions grew over photos of the couple atop the cliff were shared in news reports, triggering the memory of another tourist who was present at the time of the incident. The tourist had filmed them because he had thought the man was acting strangely.
Recep Sahin, who filmed the footage told the court, "I stopped there to see the view of Kabak Bay with my family.My daughter was filming the view with my phone and the Aysal couple came down the slope at that moment."
He said, "We even joked, 'either this man will throw the woman off or the woman will throw the man'. There was no interaction between them."
Another witness said the accused looked calm after the incident, while the emergency services were on the scene. He recalled how the husband told them that his wife had fallen, after which they started looking for her.
He said, "We tried to get closer to the edge for a better look. Hakan did not come with us down there. We stayed there until the gendarmerie arrived. Hakan was very carefree and calm. He was not acting like a man whose wife just had fallen off a cliff."
The husband was charged for the crime of "deliberate murder." He said that he had "planned the murder of his wife by first taking out a personal accident insurance on her behalf with a guarantee of TRY 400,000 ($23,700) and where the only beneficiary was himself".
