'Cinema Baby!' Fans excited as Paul Rudd, Amy Adams and Tessa Thompson cast in ‘The Invite’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Some of Marvel and DC's biggest stars will be coming together to tickle your funny bone. Paul Rudd ('Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'), Amy Adams ('Man of Steel') and Tessa Thompson ('Thor: Love and Thunder') will join hands for a project called 'The Invite'. The comedy movie is based on 'Sentimental', which is an award-winning 2020 Spanish movie by Cesc Gay. The comedy movie will be directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, who is known for directing 'Little Miss Sunshine' and 'Battle of the Sexes'.

There are many other renowned people contributing their talents to this project. Emmy-nominee Rashida Jones and Academy Award winner Will McCormack are writing the script for 'The Invite'. Academy Award nominee David Permut is producing the movie for Permut Presentations and FilmNation Entertainment.

What is 'The Invite' about?

'The Invite' narrates the story of Joe (Rudd) and Angela (Adams), who find their marraige is on the rocks after 15 years together. The couple wants to have a conversation that isn't about their marraige. When Angela invites their spirited neighbors, Kayla (Thompson) and Shane over for cocktails, things become more steamy. Sparks fly when the couple discovers that Shane and Kayla are hosting weekly orgies and have an invite of their own to offer. 

'Escaping the quantum realm'

Metizens are losing their minds after it was announced that Rudd, Adams and Thompson are going to be in the same movie. A fan wrote excitedly, "You had me at Amy Adams," while another chimed in with, "Antman just be doing whatever he want since escaping the quantum realm." One fan emphasized on the fact that the movie will be a core element of cinematic evolution and wrote, "Cinema BABY!!!!!!!" Another user wrote, "Comedy films might be back."



 



 



 



 

'Mother is back stronger and busy'

That was not it. One fan wrote, "Do I need to say more?" while another user, appreciating Rudd in comedy movies, wrote, "Paul Rudd in Wanderlust was comedy gold so I will be watching." Another user wrote, "This s**t bouta be crazy funny." One fan was crazy excited and wrote, "This is exciting! Great cast and sounds like a return to form for Dayton & Faris!" One user pointed out the obvious and said, "Something tells me this will be rated R." Another user, referring to Adams, wrote, "Mother is back stronger and busy.
