DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Detroit police's shootout with triple murder suspect Chandra Moore, 55, turned dangerous, leading to the suspect being in 'critical condition' in hospital. The suspect is accused of murdering three victims and injuring two others.

Cincinnati Police department released a statement detailing an incident that saw 911 attend to 3612 Idewild Avenue, Cincinnati, because of a mass shooting on Sunday, February 28. Both officers and fire responders made it to the scene at Evanston and "located" four victims that had been shot - one of them, Andrew Wesley, 35, was dead. A second victim was found at 2525 Victory Parkway and was identified as Britanny Wagoner, 28. An update further revealed that an "additional" victim was found at 3612 Idlewild Avenue has also died - he was identified to be Timoty L Dugar, 33.

The department then released an update revealing that the suspect, 55-year-old Moore, a Cincinnati resident, is in "critical condition" in Detroit, MI hospital. The media release further states that there is an "active warrant" for the "murder and felonious assault" against Moore who has been accused of shooting five people in Cincinnati. The victims were listed to be Dugar, Wesley and Wagoner, as the initial report stated. Surprisingly, Wagoner was revealed to be Moore's wife. In addition to the listed victims, he is also "responsible" for injuring two males, one 17, the other 51.

Who is Chandra Moore?

There isn't much about who Moore is, but the department had released how he was injured and details about the shootout. They said that on February 28 evening, Detroit police was alerted by Cincinnati Police that the triple murder suspect had "fled" to Detroit, Michigan and was in a hotel. The police, after locating Moore, waited for him to leave his room in order to "protect the safety" of the other people staying there. Moore left his room at 9:15 am on Monday, March 1 and "opened fire on officers." The release stated that the officers in turn "responded by striking Moore several times." Detroit police revealed that Moore was taken to the hospital and was now in "critical condition" and no officer involved in the shooting was injured.

Fox News revealed that the police "recovered" three hand guns, a semi-automatic rifle and two revolvers from Moore’s room. At a press conference, as per Fox 2 Detroit, Detroit Police Chief James Craig said, "This could have been a very tragic situation. I want to give tremendous credit to one of our supervisors who made the wise decision not to immediately approach the hotel. This was a very dangerous suspect, Clearly he was focused on one thing, and that's to take additional lives and try to take out police officers unsuccessfully."
