BEVERLY HILLS, LOS ANGELES: A Beverly Hills resident who lives near the alleged last known address where model Christy Giles was at before she was dumped on a sidewalk outside a hospital has claimed they heard someone "moaning in pain all day."

Giles, 24, was found dead outside Southern California Hospital in Culver City, Los Angeles, on Saturday evening, November 13. Meanwhile, her designer pal Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, was abandoned two hours later at a different hospital in West LA, where she remains in critical condition. The friends had reportedly been on a night out Friday, November 12, and left with three men to attend an afterparty in the Hollywood Hills, but never made it to their destination.

Giles's family revealed how CCTV footage from the hospital showed two men wearing all black and covering their faces with bandanas, driving a car without license plates before dropping the 24-year-old off. 40-year-old Jan Cilliers, Giles's devastated husband, said he was able to access her phone records and found that the last place where she and Hilda were at before being dumped near the hospital was an apartment on West Olympic Blvd in Beverly Hills, The Sun reported.

Speaking to the newspaper, a nearby resident said they heard "weird" noises coming from the address that Giles was allegedly taken to on Saturday, November 13. They said a certain David Pearce lives there and also spoke about how law enforcement visited the apartment on Sunday evening on November 14. Officers reportedly asked neighbors about him and his black Prius. “I heard someone moaning in pain for five, six, or seven hours, all day on Saturday from David Pearce’s apartment," the local resident told The Sun on condition of anonymity. “I was wondering what it was because there are always very loud noises coming from that apartment. But this was moaning and it was weird to me but he’s a weird guy and I don’t want to get on his bad side so I never confront him."

“On Sunday, police came and spoke with him (David Pearce), I’m not sure if they went up to his apartment," they continued. “Then the police came and spoke with me and they said there had been an incident but they didn’t give any more detail. They showed me a picture of him and his black Prius car. I told them that I had heard moaning all day and they took notes. I haven’t seen his car for a few days now," they added.

“A lot of people are upset with him already (Pearce), there are a lot of problems," neighbor Joseph Nikravsh, 75, told The Sun. “He makes a lot of noise and there are always people coming and going from his place.” The two neighbors were shown pictures of Pearce at a 2009 event in Beverly Hills and confirmed it was the same man who lived at the apartment in question.

Cilliers previously told The Sun that two men had purportedly admitted to dumping his wife and her friend at separate hospitals. The grieving husband noted that they had been interrogated by authorities and revealed that the women had suffered an accidental overdose. Cilliers also said it was also his understanding that authorities had not been able to speak with the third man who left the party with Giles and Cabrales-Arzola. He told the newspaper that he found his wife had texted her designer pal at around 5.30 am saying "Let’s get out of here” with the wide eyes emoticon. Cabrales-Arzola responded saying "Yes" and said she had called for an Uber, but after that Giles did not read or respond to any more texts sent to her.

Cilliers said the family was still awaiting information on Giles's toxicology report, but were told that they found heroin in Cabrales-Arzola's system. Having said that, it has not been confirmed whether David Pearce was indeed one of the men who spoke with police or is mereely a person of interest in the investigation. “We haven’t had any updates on any suspects in this case, let alone a specific name," an LAPD spokesman told The Sun when asked about Pearce. “It’s probably going to take several days, especially now we’re going into the weekend, for the investigators to update us with anything significant. A lot of it is dependent on the coroner’s investigation and their rulings on the cause of death and toxicology reports and so forth." He added, “We’re kinda on the coroner’s timeline and it’s a waiting game for everybody right now.”
