Two-year-old girl dies after being whipped with belt and burned by caregivers for wetting herself

Two caregivers from Texas have now been charged with capital murder in the death of a two-year-old toddler who had been repeatedly beaten with a belt because she wet herself.
The authorities have said that toddler, Aniyah Darnell, died in Arlington, Texas, in November last year after she suffered from repeated abuse at the hands of 34-year-old Shamonica Jackson and 38-year-old Derick Roberson. Jackson, who had been caring for the little girl for a few months, would allegedly beat and burn the toddler's bum to teach her a lesson because she would keep wetting her clothes.
