Before 'Chicago Med' left on its winter break, Dr Natalie Manning got her memories back and tried to tell her former fiancé, Dr Will Halstead, that she still loved him. However, Will rejected her offer, telling her that they are bad for one another.

In the first episode back after the winter break this January, Natalie tells Will that she would still like to be friends, to which Will agrees. However, after the events of the episode, it seems that even a simple friendship will be unlikely between the former beaus.

Fans are righteously angry at Natalie for going behind Will's back and calling Child Protective Services (CPS). Though her call may have been right, this action joins many others in the past where Natalie's distrust of Will led her to take a call without informing him.

When Will's patient overdoses and dies, he is devastated — and Natalie looks on.

A fan tweeted, "Will is never going to forgive himself or Natalie for that," however, another viewer wrote, "I don't think Halstead will be forgiving Manning for quite awhile. #ChicagoMed."

Fans are widely agreeing that Natalie is at fault, with one writing, "Oh Natalie this is on you! You should have kept your nose out of it! #ChicagoMed." Another tweeted, "I don't think there's any redeeming Natalie anymore."

However, some fans agree that the patient's death was neither Will's nor Natalie's fault, with one writing, "This isn’t Will or Natalie’s fault, the woman OD’ed enough times to teach her five-year-old how to use Narcan. #ChicagoMed."

Fans agree on one thing, however, and that is that Will must move on from Natalie. One fan tweeted, "Will can do better than Natalie. He better move on now for real. #ChicagoMed."

What is next for the Manstead ship is anyone's guess, but it looks like fans may not want to see the on-and-off couple back together any time soon.

'Chicago Med' airs on NBC on Wednesday nights.
