One of the things fans missed most on 'Chicago Fire' when Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) went to work for the Office of Fire Investigations (OFI) earlier this season, was his camaraderie with Captain Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) in Firehouse 51.

However, that was made up for when Severide returned to Firehouse 51 at the end of the midseason premiere. We have seen them working together since, even on an investigation to root out who was behind a series of false fire alarms.

However, it seems some tough times are head. In this week's episode of 'Chicago Fire', a case of a submerged car and its missing driver will have Severide and Casey lock horns with each other.

This could be made more intense considering that Casey is informed in the promo that this wasn't an accident, but a murder. The team successfully pulled the car out, but it was empty and it looks like no bodies were recovered from the water.

We will also see paramedic Sylvie Brett spending some quality time with her birth mother, though Brett will be getting some potentially life-altering news. How will Brett handle the situation?

So far, Casey has provided Brett with the emotional support she has needed ever since her birth mother got in touch with her - he even drove with her to the address that was given. Can the viewers expect more "Brettsey" moments again?

However, it's not all serious on 'Chicago Fire'. We are sure some comedic moments will follow considering Chief Wallace Boden has been put on a new fad diet and according to the synopsis, he won't be taking it very well.

Meanwhile, a familiar face has a proposition for Christopher Herrmann. Who is this mysterious person and could this proposition have to do with Molly's?

'Chicago Fire' airs on NBC on Wednesday nights at 9/8c.
