CORSHAM, ENGLAND: Chef Marco Pierre White's son has been jailed for a year and a half after a drug-fueled rampage. Marco Junior, 27, who first went to rehab at 16, admitted shoplifting, possession of a knife, carrying heroin, and racially motivated misdemeanors during a 15-month period. Marco Jr was incarcerated for more than 18 months on Monday, August 22, 2022. He had already been sentenced to 11 months behind bars, with 32 weeks of a previously suspended prison sentence to run consecutively. His lawyers asked the court for another chance to get his life back on track.

A court was told that the former 'Big Brother' contestant has struggled with heroin addiction since the age of 18. During his crime spree, he stole £2,496 ($2937.50) worth of clothing from upmarket equestrian store Wadswick Country Store, racially abused a Tesco Express security guard, and stole alcohol from a Waitrose store. He also stole a Mulberry credit card holder, dishwasher tablets, Rayban sunglasses, and more alcohol from a kiosk. A judge at Bristol Crown Court heard Marco had a tough time on remand, apparently because of his father's celebrity. Pierre White Jr's lawyer Catherine Flint said, “His dad is well-known and known to be wealthy. He has suffered bullying, intimidation, extortion, threats of violence and actual violence." “He is finding it incredibly difficult in prison. He is terrified at the thought of ever having to go back.”

Flint added, that her client has been addicted to class A drugs since getting into a car accident at the age of 18. "He has detoxed in jail, despite being offered drugs by other inmates." Ms Flint said "he is 'deeply ashamed' of the racist language he used in one incident involving the Tesco guard." “He would very much like an opportunity from this court for another chance to try and get his life back on track,” the lawyer said. However, Judge Mark Horton sentenced Pierre White Jr to 11 months behind bars, with 32 weeks of a previously suspended jail term to run consecutively. “It is addiction that causes intelligent people, from good backgrounds, who had every prospect, to cheat, lie and steal on a regular basis with a complete incapacity to stop doing so,” he said.

Pierre White Jr has a history of drug addiction and petty crime. Marco Jr once said he blew 250,000 pounds ($294221.25) of his world-famous father's money in three months on "prostitutes, cocaine and alcohol." Four days after leaving the 'Big Brother' show, he appeared in court to answer for a drug-driving charge dating back to April 2016. At the time, he was reportedly pulled over in a BMW in London with more than 200 micrograms of cocaine in his blood. In 2018, he disclosed attending AA meetings. In January 2019, he was fined after using racist and homophobic language when police tried to arrest him for being drunk and disorderly at a train station. The same year, he was ordered to pay more than £1,000 ($1176.88) for failing to pay a £27 ($31.78) restaurant bill after his debit card was declined. When he became the father of a daughter, Arabella Rose, in November 2019, he was out of action for a short time, but the following year he was arrested again for allegedly stealing a cell phone worth £40 ($68). At the age of sixteen, he went to rehab for the first time, which he has visited ever since.
