'Charmed' Season 2 Episode 5 explores Macy's mind from the perspective of her sisters as they uncover an uncomfortable secret

Spoiler Alert for Season 2 Episode 5 of The CW's 'Charmed'!

Though this week's episode of 'Charmed' promised a deeper exploration into Whitelighter Harry's subconscious, it gave us a lot more -- surely to the delight of viewers. While Harry dealt with his own journey about his Darklighter, Mel and Maggie Vera tried in their own way to find Macy.

They did this through a spell to locate Macy from the Book of Elders. Sure, it sounded simple enough but it led to a huge learning curve for the sisters, about magic, and their sister. To find Macy, they needed something she dreads, something she denies herself, and something she desires.

At first, the sisters take it literally, and they have ready answers for the first two. However, when it comes to something Macy desires, Mel and Maggie do not see eye to eye. Maggie believes Macy desires family, while Mel thinks it is a career. Maggie overrules by virtue of her being an empath, but it turns out to be wrong and they unleash a demon dog. When they try Mel's way, that also backfires, leading the demon dog to grow more vicious and huge.

Finally, they decide to go through Macy's journal to figure it out and when they see a particular drawing they understand -- it is not three things, it is one thing that she dreads, denies herself, and desires -- and much to viewers' delight, it is that Macy has feelings for Harry.

We are not sure how Maggie and Mel will feel about this as they soon learn that Harry has feelings for Macy too -- something that was hinted but was never acknowledged out loud on the series.

Will Maggie and Mel be okay with their Whitelighter -- who they probably consider to be like a brother -- and their sister having feelings for each other? Will they -- who have to keep themselves from having relationships with outsiders -- resent that Harry and Mel can have what they want with each other, possibly without putting themselves in danger?

'Charmed' airs on The CW on Friday night.
