'FBI: Most Wanted' Season 3 Episode 14: Fans feel Julian McMahon deserved 'better send off'

Tragedy strikes in Episode 14 of 'FBI: Most Wanted' Season 3. Following the Most Wanted team's pursuit of a man who leaves a trail of dead bodies as he looks for his ex-girlfriend, the latest episode of 'FBI: Most Wanted' ended with Jess LaCroix dying from a gunshot injury. 

Here's a quick rundown for those who missed it. Titled 'Shattered,' Episode 14 of 'FBI: Most Wanted' Season 3 begins with Harley Ross killing Derrick Williams and family, after the doctor answered his questions in an unsatisfying manner. Jess LaCroix and team are tasked with bringing Harley to justice and they soon find out that Harley is looking for Lucy, his ex-girlfriend who left him after he violently assaulted her. Unable to extract any information out of those involved in getting Lucy away from him, Harley shoots them down out of frustration, killing around 10 people.

The Most Wanted team is eventually able to corner Harley but he gets away before they can arrest him, fatally shooting Jess LaCroix, while simultaneously getting gunned down. Episode 14 of 'FBI: Most Wanted' Season 3 ended with Byron LaCroix and Sarah at the morgue, as the two are flown down by the Bureau to look over Jess' funeral. Fans of the series, upset with the way things turned out for the beloved character, had a lot to say about the latest episode of 'FBI: Most Wanted.'

"#JulianMcMahon Really made #JessLacroix real 4 all of us,the rawness and vulnerability but toughness of that character was something we havent seen in awhile not really since Elliot stabler on SVU bravo sir…I wish this wasn’t how it ended @WolfEnt@MostWantedCBS #FBIMostWanted," a fan tweeted. "I understand that #JulianMcMahon wanted to leave the show in favor of additional creative pursuits and can’t wait to see him again on screen but even though I will still watch the show cause I love #theFBIs, #FBIMostWanted won’t be the same without #JessLaCroix🖤💛 #fbifam," another remarked. A fan seconded, tweeting "I knew that the character of #JessLaCroix was leaving #FBIMostWanted, but the way he wound up leaving was quite shocking and abrupt! I will certainly miss him! @CBS @WolfEnt #JulianMcMahon".

"#FBIMostWanted sad reminder that it can all end, at any second, without any warning, just like that. RIP #JessLaCroix We will miss you #JulianMcMahon@MostWantedCBS," a fan opined. A fan of the series expressed his feelings over Jess and Sarah not getting a happy ending, tweeting "#FBIMostWanted I reallyyyyy thought Jess would have driving off into the sunset with Sarah..not THIS😭😭😭😭😭😭. Some of the fans found the way the character was written off rather disappointing, as a tweet read "I’m so disappointed in that ending for #Jess, #JulianMcMahon deserved a better send off than that! #FBIMostWanted@FBIMostWanted #endingsucked". Another agreed, tweeting "#JessLaCroix can’t believe they developed and sucked us into your character , just to end like this. #worsethancovid #JulianMcMahon #worsethangasprices @MostWantedCBS @CBS @WolfEnt#fbimostwanted #fbifam," while the following tweet read "WOW thought #JulianMcMahon would have wanted out with at least a way to come back like they wrote for #kellanlutz character but nah they just went and left tali an orphan, Tali and Jess deserved better to be together #FBIMostWanted".
