The focus of tonight's (August 19) episode of 'Catfish' was a man named Dre who was in a long-distance relationship with a woman named Casey. Dre had been in a relationship with his girlfriend and baby mama Rebecca for six whole years. He described her as "bae" but he still wanted an arrangement where he could continue his relationship with Casey.

Rebecca had found out about his shenanigans with this woman and since then he had been living with his half-brother Fred who later on contacted 'Catfish' hosts Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford to help Dre see that the person he's talking to is not who he thinks he is. Even though the hosts were disgusted by Dre and understood that he was delusional and would still be up to hop into a relationship with his catfisher if the person had "a vagina and a pulse", they decided to help him.

The first step in their investigation was to go through the social media accounts of the person who was pretending to be Casey and Kamie was quick to find some hints. She noticed that a photo was uploaded with a black girl emoji in the caption and the other photos were probably screenshots because of the weird borders around it. A quick image search revealed that the person who Casey was pretending to be was a whole another person and it strengthened their doubts that Dre's catfisher could be Rebecca herself.

Dre had shared two phone numbers with the hosts that belonged to Casey. The hosts got a response from one of those numbers and they were highly confused after they heard a man answering the phone. They then took this information to Dre but he still didn't wish to give up the chase and wanted to know who this person was. He was still hopeful it could be a woman and a beautiful one at that.

The hosts decided to accommodate this request and sent in a message to the same number introducing the show and themselves and asked the person to join a video call and come face to face with Dre and reveal the true identity. Turns out it was none other than Dre's younger sister Jackie.

Jackie wanted to embarrass him publically, just like he was trying to do with Rebecca. Dre understood her perspective and promised to mend his ways and in an update, at the end of the show, it was revealed that he was staying true to his words. He was taken back by Rebecca and for now, his only priorities were two women: his girlfriend and his daughter.

'Catfish' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on MTV and VH1.
