What is Casey Anthony's net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Casey's net worth is calculated to be $10,000. Casey was declared not guilty of murdering her toddler in 2011. After two years of the trial, Casey filed for bankruptcy. In her claim, she filed for $1,000 in assets and $800,000 in liabilities. Back then, Casey claimed to have zero income. In Touch Weekly reported that Casey listed 80 creditors. Among these, there was a $500,000 debt to Jose Baez, Casey's attorney, and a $145,660 debt to Orange County Sheriff's office. During her bankruptcy in 2013, she was surviving with the help of her friends and family.

As of now, Casey is reportedly working as a researcher. She previously tried her luck in the photography business but that didn't take off. In 2020, Casey launched a private investigation firm in Florida, named 'Case Research & Consulting Services LLC'. Currently, Casey is working on a book, detailing her life and the tragedy of losing her daughter and everything else.

There has been no signs of how much or whether Peacock paid Casey for the docu-series. But, she was undoubtedly paid for the previous interviews. Casey was reported to have received $200,000 from ABC News in 2010 and $750,000 for a special interview in 2011.

Casey Anthony's life tainted with the blood of her own daughter

Even though Casey was declared not-guilty by the court but her character forever remained tainted with the blood of her own daughter. In 2008, Casey's mother Cindy Anthony reported about Casey for stealing a vehicle and money. According to Crime Museum, Cindy claimed about her granddaughter's kidnapping in another 911 call. A further report of Casey's car smelling like "dead body" was made. Furthermore, there were several evidence presented in the court that connected Casey with Caylee's murder case. The police found human hair in the trunk of Casey's vehicle, whose DNA was confirmed to be of a female lineage. While doing odor detection test there were confirmations of decomposition. Moreover, there were duct tape, insect activity, and chloroform found near the suspected crime scene.

After 33-days of testimony, the charges of first-degree murder, child abuse, and manslaughter was dropped. However, Casey was found guilty of forgery for false information in the criminal investiagtion. According to Daily News, there were accusations made that Casey paid her lawyer Baez with sex. Baez later denied to all these claims, saying, "This libelous claim is in line with many other outrageous claims and theories that this individual has advanced regarding the Casey Anthony case."

The three-part documentary 'Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies' is set to premiere on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 3.00 am ET on Peacock.
