INSKIP, LANCASHIRE: Nicola Bulley’s close friend has slammed the controversial theories and the speculations that have begun to do rounds on the Internet as the search for the missing woman continues. Tilly Ann took to Facebook to post her thoughts on the ongoing case after the 45-year-old woman was last seen on January 27 while walking her dog near River Wyre.
Though police have speculated that she drowned in the river, her family and friends, including Ann, did not believe it. On Facebook, the pal began her post with a positive note that said, “I want to start this post by thanking those who have shared and shared posts and who have been out looking and have created such a comfort to Nikki's family. Absolutely incredible!”

Ann, however, soon changed her tone and wrote, “I can't sit back anymore and not act with regards the hurt and distress that is being caused by some very inappropriate comments,” as she went to refer to an interview given by Bulley’s partner, Paul Ansell, where he said, “it just seems absolutely impossible. Like a dream. I cannot get my head around it. Right now it's like she's vanished into thin air, it's insane,” as reported by Daily Star.
The friend said, “We can see the hurt and pain and can see how much he's struggling to hold back the tears. He's is completely focusing on his girls because if he even stops to think about anything else, he will lose it and he doesn't want to worry his girls even more than they already are,” before she released numerous points to give a better idea of the case. She also clarified that she was sharing the facts with the consent of Bulley's family.

In her first point, Ann asserted, “Paul and Nikki both mostly work from home which is why he was at home that day. They have CCTV and there is a reason why Paul has never been a suspect. Family and friends need these accusations to stop immediately. The fact that I've had to write this is disgusting to be honest. They both do this walk regularly and Paul is very well known in the community and very well recognised.”

1. “The dog never has her harness on for a chunk of that walk, it's removed at the gate of the top field and then put back on at the gate when they leave.”
2. “They very rarely take the ball out for walks with willow now because she is very very protective over the ball and haven't done for a while.”
3. “Nikki quite often would put her phone on loud speaker when talking.”
4. “The dog was found very close to the bench and the harness. The harness was found on the floor not on the bench.”
5. “Nikki is an incredibly strong swimmer,” Ann said this while seemingly refuting cops’ theory that she plunged to her death in the icy water.

9. “CCTV at residential park at the top field had one camera not working, unfortunately the one that would have seen Nikki on the field towards the gate (not wyreside farm).”
