'Cannonball' has been on air for five weeks and the water-based championship returned for the sixth week with a whole new array of athletes. These athletes were required to compete in over five challenges, all of them ending with them requiring to jump into the deep waters from significant heights while making sure that they've fulfilled all conditions for the challenge. Each episode featured 12 athletes participating in the first challenge and their positioning on the leaderboard determined if they'd make it to the next round or otherwise.

Only four of them made it to the final challenge that is 'The Cannon' wherein they were required to come charging down a slide that had a cannon shaped structure at the end of it. This launched them in the air and the athlete achieving the maximum height mid-air wins the challenge. In the end, it all boiled down to being between grocery bagger Art Smocks Jr and Jill Knox Powell, a visual artist from New York. They were the top two athletes who were competing for the winning title as well as the cash prize that was a whopping $10,000 and the latter ended up as the winner.

Coming into the challenge, the New York mama was determined to show her kids that they could do anything that they set their hearts to. Her creative job and mommy duties hadn't taken away her humorous and sassy edge from her personality. The same was proved as Powell joked about her hate for slow walkers in her introductory video and how she would rather not encounter them. Her competitor Art too brought in a lot of cheer to the show with his infectious smile. He found immense joy in working at the grocery store as it involved helping people out and he admitted that he loved it. Art sported a muscular physique and it wasn't because he was toiling at the gym but had achieved it by lifting at least 50 pounds of stock every day at the store.

It was anybody's game in the final challenge, 'The Cannon' and Powell won by a difference of just an inch. Art's height was 67'8" and the former won the challenge after she clocked a height of 67'9".

You can watch the rerun of this episode at 10.30 pm ET, tonight (August 13. A new episode of the show airs Thursdays at 8 pm ET only on USA Network.
