Several witnesses can be seen in the footage placing their hands to their heads in amazement, including a man wearing a baseball cap. However, after the train came to a halt, she was luckily pulled alive off the tracks. She sat and then lay down on the platform as passengers flocked around her, before being wheeled away in a wheelchair to an ambulance.

Crime at the tourist area, according to one subway rider who observed the shoving incident, is unsurprising. "This is like what it used to be like in the 80s," they told ABC 7. "People are wicked to be able to push someone on a moving train, and for what? I don't know, but it's horrible," CBS 2 heard from another passenger. "It looked malicious," said rider Alejandro DeJesus to ABC 7. "That's scary. That could happen to anybody when you least expect it."
