A woman named Candela faints and falls off the platform under a speeding train at Buenos Aires' Independence Station, narrowly averting death. Candela became wobbly on her feet, tilting forward and stumbling towards the approaching train, according to a video. Onlookers feared the worst as she vanished down a gap between two carriages.

Several witnesses can be seen in the footage placing their hands to their heads in amazement, including a man wearing a baseball cap. However, after the train came to a halt, she was luckily pulled alive off the tracks. She sat and then lay down on the platform as passengers flocked around her, before being wheeled away in a wheelchair to an ambulance.

Shocking video shows woman being shoved onto incoming train at Times Square station

67-year-old serial subway groper who terrorized women commuters is nabbed after he reached up transport officer's dress

Candela has only recently been permitted to see the photographs for herself after being advised she was no longer in danger and discharged from Dr Alberto Balestrini's Buenos Aires Hospital. After surviving the horrible episode, the female commuter, Candela said that she felt she was reborn.

Candela spoke to an Argentinian TV station: "I suffered a sudden drop in blood pressure and fainted. I tried to warn the person in front of me but don’t remember anything else, even the moment I smashed into the train. I don’t know how I’m still alive. I’m still trying to make sense of it all." According to a witness to the incident, "This girl has been reborn. It’s a miracle. We were waiting for the train and suddenly she fell onto the track. Amazingly it was just a scare."

On Monday morning, October 4, 2021, surveillance footage from the Times Square subway station recorded a fellow commuter forcing a 42-year-old lady into a train. The female victim was shoved off the platform and onto the incoming train as it reached the station in an unprovoked attack. After suffering facial injuries during the attack the victim who cannot be identified for legal reasons was transferred to a local hospital in stable condition. Meanwhile, the suspect was on the loose and another man shot himself in the leg in the same subway stop just hours before the event.

Crime at the tourist area, according to one subway rider who observed the shoving incident, is unsurprising. "This is like what it used to be like in the 80s," they told ABC 7. "People are wicked to be able to push someone on a moving train, and for what? I don't know, but it's horrible," CBS 2 heard from another passenger. "It looked malicious," said rider Alejandro DeJesus to ABC 7. "That's scary. That could happen to anybody when you least expect it."
