Candace Owens calls for Alec Baldwin's arrest, slammed for comparing him to Amber Guyger
It appears that Candace Owens is fixated on Alec Baldwin at the moment and refusing to let go of the tragic incident that happened with the actor on the set of 'Rust'. Even after being brutally lambasted by Ireland Baldwin, where the model even called her a 'cancer', Owens seems to be least perturbed, as she continues to demand Alec Baldwin's arrest. In October, the actor grabbed headlines worldwide after a prop gun he was filming with misfired and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. In her latest tweet, the conservative and controversial author compared Alec Baldwin with Amber Guyger and asked why he is still roaming free.
"Is there any reason in particular that @AlecBaldwln____
hasn’t been arrested yet? Haven’t we learned that even when accidents happen with guns, the person on the other end of the gun is arrested for manslaughter? Amber Guyger was arrested within 3 days," Candace Owens wrote in her latest tweet. For context, Amber Guyger was an off-duty police officer from Dallas who fatally shot 26-year-old Botham Jean in 2018, after mistakenly trespassing his apartment. She is currently serving a sentence of 10 years in prison.

A few weeks back, Owens drew immense flak for insinuating that the death of Halyna Hutchins was "poetic justice" for Alec Baldwin who has unabashedly criticized Donald Trump for years. In a series of now-deleted tweets, Owens said, "Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers. What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren't for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad."
She further added, "Will correct that last tweet to say Alec Baldwin *killed* someone- not murdered someone, as murder carries a different legal definition. Literally, not one single thing that Alec Baldwin has said about Donald Trump and his supporters is going to age well."
Needless to say, the tweets did not sit well with Alec Baldwin's 26-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin, who took to Instagram to call Candace "the most disgusting, hateful, cancerous human being I've ever come across." She also added that she was "ashamed to breathe the same air as this woman."
And now Owens has found her way back into controversy once with the latest tweet, which drew flak from Baldwin fans and liberals. "The real question is why ur not muted yet," a fan tweeted, lashing out at Owens.
"Amber Guyger shot a man while trespassing in his home, they're not even close to the same situation," another user explained. "Are you serious? The fact that you are comparing the 2 situations is so cringe worthy. A guess it doesn't matter what you trend for. As long as you're trending huh?" a third user called her out.
One user accused her of saying things just to agitate people and stay relevant. "I always thought it but now I know you truly say things to get under people skin and agitate to stay relevant. And it works because here I am commenting and upset," they tweeted.
