Cameron Diaz reveals she 'never' washes her face despite having 'billion products': 'I'm a beast'
Cameron Diaz was once Hollywood's "it" girl, but she discarded social beauty standards after leaving the glamourous life nearly a decade ago. Despite possessing a 'billion' personal care items, the 49-year-old admitted that she no longer thinks about her beauty and 'never' washes her face.
In a new interview with RuPaul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage on her new BBC programme 'Rule Breakers', Diaz talked about how liberating it feels to be out of the spotlight.

Cameron described Hollywood's appeal as "such a trap," which she managed to escape after marrying Benji Madden in 2015. "Again, I just go back to the trap of it all," she said to Michelle, "Especially in our society, like what we value, what we think is important. Look. if it's important to you, that's fine."
Diaz is said to have turned down around $100 million in film offers since leaving the A-list, but she doesn't seem to be remorseful. "I am absolutely a victim to all of the societal objectifications and exploitations that women are subjected to," she said. "I have bought into all of them myself at certain times. It's hard not to, it's hard not to look at yourself and judge yourself against other markers of beauty, and I think that that's one of the biggest things, the last eight years girl - I'm like wild, I'm like a wild animal, I'm a beast."
One unexpected benefit is that she may now place less focus, if any, on her beauty. Cameron remarked, "I don't care. Literally the last thing I think about on a daily basis... like maybe not at all during the day, is what I look like."
"No, no, I literally do nothing. I like never wash my face," she added, saying that she has a "billion products" on her shelves that are practically collecting dust.
"Twice a month if I'm lucky, I'll be like 'Oh, I better put this on. One time works, right?' Like is that all I have to do? I'm just not in that place right now like where I put any energy," Cameron explained. As she approaches 50, her top concern is to 'stay strong.'

Michelle's fresh new podcast included the Holiday star as the very first guest. "Join me as I speak to the people who changed the direction of their lives by marching to the beat of their own drum! My first guest on this International Women's Day is so fitting.... It is the amazing, hilarious and beautiful inside and out," Michelle wrote on her Instagram post.
Diaz is still working and has a popular wine label, 'Avaline', despite the fact that she is no longer acting. In a recent 'love yourself' video, she lighted a Goop Hands Off My Vagina candle next to a bottle of her favorite beverage.
In July 2020, the star of Something About Mary and Katherine Power co-launched Avaline. The wine is prepared with organic grapes and is vegan friendly, as it contains no added sugars or colors. Avaline's membership service was also promoted in a second Instagram video by the winemaker.
Diaz's most recent performance on the big screen was in the 2014 film adaption of Annie, in which she played the heinous Miss Hannigan, who drank too much wine while torturing the orphans in her care. She's been concentrating on her family and business since then.
