Academy Award-winning actor Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that superstar Robert De Niro helped her calm her nerves while they were working together on 'Silver Linings Playbook'. The movie, which primarily focuses on the lives of Pat (Bradley Cooper) and Tiffany (Lawrence), sees De Niro playing the role of Pat's father in the movie and gets in a fight with Tiffany after the Philadelphia Eagles lose a game. That particular scene would turn out to be one of the highlights of the movie, because viewers got to see two highly decorated stars trying to prove who is right and who is wrong.

Sharing a frame with a legendary actor like De Niro can be intimidating and even though she felt the same before the filming began, Lawrence had nothing but good things to say about the veteran actor when they started the movie. While making an appearance during the London Film Festival's 'Screen Talk' series, the 32-year-old star shared how 'The Irishman' made her comfortable by saying that she could call him "Bob".

She added, "He's a warm, sweet person. Obviously, it's very intimidating, but as soon as you meet him, he tells you 'Call me Bob'. So, it's hard to be intimidated when you are calling him 'Bob'. No one named Bob is mean. Bob is obviously a nice, sweet guy."

The 'Don't Look Up' actor also opened up about her career and said she lost a "sense of control" when the 'Hunger Game' came out. She also opened about the time she felt like a "commodity" between the release of 'The Hunger Games' and her Oscar win for 'Silver Linings Playbook'.

"I think, eventually, I lost the sense of control. Between the 'Hunger Games' coming out and winning the Oscar, I think I became such a kind of commodity that I felt like every decision was a big, big group decision. When I reflect now, I can't think of those following years, [because there was] just a loss of control and then a reaction to try to get it back and do a movie like that. I am lucky that, in my late 20s, I left the agency I was with and made some major changes," said Lawrence.

Lawrence's newest movie 'Causeway' was shown as a special presentation at the London Film Festival and got a rousing reception. The movie focuses on Lynsey (Lawrence), a US war veteran, who suffered a brain injury while being deployed in Afghanistan. It is a moving portrait of pain and healing that will completely blow viewers away.
