Who are Caitlin Clark's parents? Internet hails Iowa Hawkeyes player after record 8th triple-double
COLUMBUS, OHIO: Caitlin Clark played what is being considered one of the best games of her career on Monday, January 23, in Columbus, Ohio, leading the Iowa Hawkeyes with 28 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds for the eighth triple-double of her college career. Clark's latest achievement is being hailed as she now has the third-most triple-doubles in Division I history, trailing Oregon's Sabrina Ionescu (26 from 2017 to 2020) and Lamar's Chastadie Barrs (nine from 2016 to 2019). Ohio State was just 4-of-25 from 3-point range.
"I think it's meaningful, and when I'm able to do that, it puts my team in a really good position to win," Clark said of getting a triple-double, according to ESPN. "That's just kind of what I pride myself in, being able to do a lot of different things on the basketball court for my team. I think it makes me really versatile, hard to guard."
