A viral video by MeidasTouch, an American political action committee formed in March 2020, featuring clips of Donald Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump, and his son, Donald Trump Jr, has prompted many to take to social media to troll the POTUS' senior adviser as the November 2020 elections draw closer. MeidasTouch was formed with the purpose to stop the reelection of Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. Since its formation, the committee has released multiple videos criticizing the Trump administration. On April 22, 2020, the committee released its first video, titled 'Are You Better Off?', which criticized Trump's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States.

Earlier in June, the committee released a video titled 'Bye Ivanka', taking bits out of her commencement speech and focused on the President's daughter's relation with China and also criticized Trump's handling of the coronavirus crisis. While Ivanka's speech was going to be given at Wichita State University Tech, it got canceled due to student and teacher pressure. MeidasTouch's new video titled 'Bye Ivanka The Sequel: Trump Family Nepotism Exposed' has been touted as a sequel to 'Bye Ivanka'. In the video, Ivanka says that Trump has "always been a champion of the American worker," while interspersed clips show reports of Trump's products outsourced to be made in other countries.

Ivanka also says that it is "incredibly important" to Trump that he fills federal job vacancies based on people having "the skill, the passion, the drive, the competency to do the job," and not based on "outdated requirements." The following clip shows Trump claiming he hired a rich person, saying, "I just don't want a poor person." The video also takes clips of reports of Trump hiring Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner for roles in his administration. In another clip, Ivanka says that her father built "the most inclusive economy in this country's history," as the video shows the text, "They rebuilt the economy for themselves and stole from you."

As the video went viral, #ByeIvanka began trending as many users trolled Ivanka Trump. One user wrote, "The whole Trump family are out-of-touch grifters profiting at our expense. They need to go. #ByeIvanka." Another tweeted, "Nobody knows nepotism like a Trump. That's why they hire all the best relatives and the hired help says Trump hires terrible people, the worst. #ByeIvanka." A user wrote, "Wow, the tRumps can not be out of Washington fast enough. There isn’t one of them who isn’t corrupt, it’s as if they try and out grift each other. Time to clean up Washington. Thanks, @MeidasTouch for shining a light on them. #Fresh #Fam46 #ByeIvanka." Another opined, "All the best people... His family, his friends. They rebuilt the economy FOR THEMSELVES. She whispers softly in Daddy's ear...and he listens to her. She really needs to go! #ByeIvanka."

One user joked, "A bonus of voting trump out of the office to #EndTheNightmare is that we won't have to hear Complicit Barbie and her fake-wispy voice anymore. #ByeIvanka." Another wrote, "Ivanka is disassociated from reality. Considering what her father says, does, and represents, its mind-boggling she thinks anyone would take her seriously. #ByeIvanka." In 2017, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were appointed as Senior Advisers to Trump.
