'The Busch Family Brewed': Christi Busch worries Marissa is taking Billy Jr away from his family
The episode picks up with the Busch family concerned about Marissa, Billy Jr 's girlfriend who was introduced in last week's episode. She posted a couple of solo pictures from a vacation that she and Billy took together and that didn't sit right with Maddie who is really concerned at this point about Marissa's intentions in dating her brother Billy.
Marissa and Billy are seen celebrating one year of togetherness at a romantic dinner. They looked back at their very first date and Marissa recalled Billy taking her out for dinner and being so nervous that he couldn't eat at all. Billy told her that he considered himself extremely lucky and wouldn't have it any other way and they seemed to be having a good time until the point Marissa asked Billy to move in with her in her Dallas home.
Billy does not seem inclined at first and so he told her that he has bigger commitments to which she reasoned that he could fulfill all his commitments and still move out of his parents' house as he's not growing any younger. Billy seems ready to give it a thought at the end of the date.
Back at the house, Billy told his parents that he is ready to leave the nest and move in with Marissa in Dallas, shocking both of them. Christi immediately disapproved of this idea. All this time she thought that Billy was happy with Marissa and was just about to let her guard down and warm up to her son's girlfriend but all this moving out talk has all her suspicions spring back right in and she is very vocal about this in her conversation with Billy Jr.
Billy, on the other hand, is very determined to make the move and tells Christi off for not liking any of the girls that have been a part of his life. Christi defended herself saying she's just cautious and that she can feel Marissa is just taking from Billy with nothing in return but Billy seemed to have made his decision as he told his parents that they couldn't protect him forever. He said he was 26 and insisted that he wanted to do things on his own.
