‘Embarrassed’ Adriana Kuch, 14, got taunting texts from her bullies a day before she killed herself
The attack and posting it online was to 'make fun of her'
Kuch was discovered dead in her Bayville home on Friday, February 3, just days after a horrifying video of her being attacked by bullies in the school's halls went online. Adriana’s father Michael Kuch wrote in a Facebook post that a video of the assault had been posted online to “make fun of her”.
On Friday, February 10, tudents at the school. One was charged with aggravated assault, two others with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, and a fourth with harassment, Billhimer said.
Four students have been charged
The students’ names have not been released. They had already been suspended by the school district. “Each juvenile and their guardian was served with a copy of their complaint and are released pending future court appearances,” Billhimer added.
Micheal went to the cops right away after the incident but School failed to take action
"I want the entire world to know what these animals did to my daughter," Michael Kuch told NBC Newyork. Michael Kuch said he took Adriana Kuch to the cops right after the incident. "Had the school launched an investigation at that point", He thinks videos could have been found and removed, and his daughter might not have suffered the humiliation that, in his opinion, led to her death.
Adriana, a first-year student, is seen going down a hallway in the 30-second film when students suddenly start slapping her in the face with a water bottle. The student keeps punching her in the head and yanking her hair as she drops to the ground. Other students are heard clapping their hands, cheering. One of the attackers could be heard yelling, "That's what you get you stupid a** b****."
Michael told Daily Mail on Friday that the school's board was reluctant to expel the bullies because they were fearful of a loss in revenue. He said, "If my daughter is only worth $23,000 a head to them then because they would lose four students then what is anybody’s kid worth."
