Who is Buckley Carlson? Tucker Carlson threatens GOP Rep Tom Emmer for reportedly attacking his son
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Fox News star Tucker Carlson allegedly made a veiled threat to Rep Tom Emmer (R-Minnesota) after accusing the latter of insulting his son, Buckley, according to a new report.
Carlson, 53, was reportedly reacting to a Daily Beast story on Friday, October 21, that quoted an anonymous GOP strategist saying Emmer's rival Rep Jim Banks (R-Indiana) “dies to be liked by the Establishment. He hires Tucker Carlson’s son, a 24-year-old kid, to be his communications director.” The senior Carlson reportedly took offense and called up Emmer demanding that he reveal which staffer took a swipe at his son.

Axios reported on Sunday, October 23, that the Fox News host demanded that the Minnesota Republican “either reveal which staff member took a swipe at Carlson’s son, a Capitol Hill aide ... or the Fox host would assume Emmer himself was to blame for the quote." Emmer, who is the chair of the National Republican Campaign Committee, denied that his office was involved, but Carlson apparently didn't buy the explanation and declared he now had a personal beef with the lawmaker, per the report. It's worth noting that Carlson is widely popular among conservatives, and so his alleged outburst could possibly affect how the GOP pecking order plays out. According to NBC News, Banks is expected to challenge Emmer and Drew Ferguson (R-Georgia) for the position of House Republican whip if the GOP wins control of the House in the midterm elections.
The controversy immediately caused prominent GOP figures to take sides. Donald Trump Jr accused Emmer of having his "henchmen" attack Carlson's son and “trying to throw the staff of another member of Congress under the bus to cover his own a**???”
It was bad enough that RINO Tom Emmer had his henchmen attack Tucker Carlson's 25 year old son to the Daily Beast, but now Emmer is trying to throw the staff of another member of Congress under the bus to cover his own ass???

“I stand with Buckley Carlson,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the conservative firebrand from Georgia, tweeted Sunday, October 23.
Speaking to Axios, an NRCC spokesperson said Emmer was not to blame and that the “baseless accusations are meant to distract and divide Republicans." They added, "Our focus is on retaking the majority and firing Nancy Pelosi.”
