Bruce Willis' 'Moonlighting' streams on Hulu for first time, fans can't get over his 'charm and charisma'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Emmy-nominated 1980s television series 'Moonlighting,' which marked the screen debut of Bruce Willis, is on a streaming platform for the first time ever. From October 10, Hulu has been streaming all five seasons of the show, consisting of a total of 67 episodes.
The show was created by Glenn Gordon Caron and features Al Jarreau’s Grammy-nominated title track.
Apart from Willis, the cast of 'Moonlighting' includes Cybill Shepherd, Allyce Beasley and Curtis Armstrong.
“When former fashion model Maddie Hayes goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is ownership of the Blue Moon Detective Agency, she’s tempted to liquidate it until she meets the quirky employees and gets involved in their even quirkier cases,” reads the show description on the streaming platform.
Glenn Gordon Caron visits Bruce Willis as he fights dementia
Caron is visiting Willis as much as possible as the 68-year-old star's frontotemporal dementia progresses, reports Us Weekly.
Speaking to the New York Post, Caron, 69, said, "My sense is the first one to three minutes he knows who I am. He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he’s not reading now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce.”
Willis retired from acting in March 2022 when he was diagnosed with the language disorder aphasia. Demi Moore, Willis' ex-wife, revealed in February that he was also diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, for which there is no treatment.
"I know he’s really happy that the show is going to be available for people, even though he can’t tell me that,” Caron told The Post. “When I got to spend time with him we talked about it and I know he’s excited.”

There's so many great 80s shows, but this one had the theme song I learned to lay on my keyboard," reminisced a fourth user.
