Episode 9 of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 7, titled 'Dillman', will see no recurring characters returning. But we are going to catch a glimpse of a certain titular character "when a prank goes disastrously awry, and things at the Nine-Nine take a distinctly Agatha Christie turn." Who this Dillman is or why he's the focus of Nine-Nine in Episode 9 isn't clear yet, but we do know what this prank is about!

In a newly leaked promo of the episode, a giant box of glitter explodes in front of Scully, while he's standing near Jake Peralta's desk. With his head covered in red glitter all over, Scully claims he can't feel his face, and that's when Jake decides to ask if he can feel his face normally. Scully answers in the negative so that mystery is out of the discussion, but that doesn't change the fact that somebody just exploded a box full of glitter and caused considerable property damage in the precinct for unknown reasons — making it a matter worth investigating.

Jake tries to explain the broken windows listing all the possible things that could have caused the windows to shatter to pieces: Rosa Diaz flinging her desktop at it after dissatisfying answers to BuzzFeed quizzes; Charles Boyle practicing his questionable throwing skills; and of course — Terry Jeffords just trying to apply some pressure into shutting windows, forgetting how strong he is.

However, since newly reinstated Captain Raymond Holt believes this is a matter for the bomb squad, Jake feels compelled to prove that they just got pranked. Because, well, what could be a better case for investigations when it comes to the master of all pranks and heists, right?

Also, the episode looks like a second consecutive installment where Amy Santiago's pregnancy goes unspoken of. The entire fandom is still trying to figure out whether the ending of Episode 7 where Amy tells Jake she is pregnant really happened, or was it just Charles dreaming, as the final scene shows him wake up from his sleep with a start and gasp: "It's happening!"

It is going to be two full weeks since the showrunners have dropped the bomb and have since acted like it didn't happen at all and at this point, the wait is getting excruciating!

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 7 airs on Thursdays at 8.30 pm only on NBC.
