'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 7 Episode 11 Preview: The Halloween heist is back and Rosa already has the worst luck

Considering just two weeks ago Jake was bragging about his heist skills and how great he is at conducting the whole thing, it's no wonder that he takes things the extra mile

Now that the big pregnancy reveal is out of the way, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his wife slash colleague Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) can finally walk their way hand in hand into the most awaited episodes of every season - the Halloween heist.

Titled 'Valloweaster', Season 7 Episode 11 will see "the squad compete in an effort to determine who is the greatest human/genius," reveals the official synopsis provided by NBC and we all know that means.

A hyperactive Jake trying to prove why he's the best in the precinct will come armed with plenty of fails and embarrassing moments all to reveal some of the biggest con jobs in the show's history.

And considering just two episodes ago, Jake was bragging about his heist skills and how great he is at conducting the whole thing, it's no wonder that he takes things the extra mile this time. That, and of courses, his aching need to be the first-ever three-time heist winner.

In a promotional clip offered by NBC, Amy can be seen dressed in a pumpkin costume as Jake briefs the squad on the heist that is about to ensue. Amy's extremely loose-fitting costume has Jake and Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) both suggesting that it's just a facade to hide her heist equipment, while Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher) openly bashes her for "sleeping her way" in winning the fifth Halloween heist back in Season 5 — the one where Jake had used the heist to propose to Amy.

The evil genius that she can be at times, Amy takes a dig right back at Holt about how it's not her fault that nobody wants to "bone" him, thus bringing back yet another running gag from the past. (If you know, you know!) But Jake has other plans. He says the heist should be more about friendship than competing with each other — an enthusiastic initiative that will need heist partners to be handcuffed with each other.

A second released clip shows Rosa opposing the idea right away, saying she doesn't want to be handcuffed with the sloppy Jake but suffers from the hasty decision as her pick ends up being Scully, who immediately needs to go to the bathroom right after he gets cuffed to Rosa. Fun!

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 7 airs on Thursdays at 8.30 pm only on NBC.
